ACCURACY

Calculations use modern astronomy — truncated VSOP87 for the Sun, ELP-2000 for the Moon, IAU 1980 nutation, and Lahiri ayanamsa for sidereal positions. Sunrise, sunset and panchang transition times match leading reference panchangs to within about a minute.

PRIVACY

• Zero data collected. The app does not connect to any server during normal use.
• No advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no third-party libraries beyond standard AndroidX and Jetpack Compose.
• Location is optional. If you tap "Use my location" the app reads your last-known coarse location once to pick the nearest city, then discards the coordinates — they are never stored or transmitted.
• Everything works fully offline.
